Dental laboratory technology students are taught basic and advanced techniques of appliance fabrication in the areas of complete dentures, partial dentures, crowns and bridges, ceramics and orthodontics. Students are also taught dental sciences such as occlusion and dental materials.
Graduates of the program have many career options. Among the most common careers are: laboratory bench technician, manufacturer's representative, and technical sales. After obtaining experience in the laboratory, many graduates become laboratory owners
