The Holiday Inn at IPFW and The Memorial Coliseum

The six-story IPFW Holiday Inn at the Coliseum, located conveniently near the university, the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, shopping, and restaurants, includes 150 beds, a restaurant, pool, and meeting rooms. Many classes offered by the Consumer & Family Sciences department are held in our facilities in the Holiday Inn at IPFW.  The opportunity to have access to the hotel as a teaching resource enables students to better understand and contextualize concepts and theories.  The experience allows participants to adopt professional attitudes in appearance and behavior that allow for an understanding of the industry and its requirements.  In turn, this is invaluable in distinquishing our students when seeking employment.

FALL AND SPRING SEMESTERs:  Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) hospitality students take charge of the Mastodon Grill at the Holiday Inn at IPFW and the Coliseum every Tuesday evening to offer a specially themed dining experience.
