Our department typically offers one graduate teaching assistantship per semester. This appointment includes a stipend for teaching a 3 credit hour course in the student’s area of interest as well as fee remission for that semester.
The graduate teaching assistant will teach a course from the following: PPOL E162, Environment and People; PPOL J101, The American Criminal Justice System; PPOL H120, Contemporary Health Issues; or PPOL V170, Introduction to Public Affairs.
The 2012-13 stipend is $6595 per academic year for a .25 FTE (teaching one 3 credit hour course each semester) graduate teaching assistant.
The 2012-2013 graduate aide or teaching assistant fees are $741.30 per semester (half for summer) plus $32.40 per credit hour. How may I apply ?
