Our department typically offers one graduate teaching assistantship per semester. This appointment includes a stipend for teaching a 3 credit hour course in the student’s area of interest as well as fee remission for that semester.

The graduate teaching assistant will teach a course from the following: PPOL E162, Environment and People; PPOL J101, The American Criminal Justice System; PPOL H120, Contemporary Health Issues; or PPOL V170, Introduction to Public Affairs.
