
Associate Professor
Dr. Jeffrey A. Nowak, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Science Education in the IPFW School of Education. His primary teaching responsibilities include the courses dealing with Science Education. Inquiry-based instructional strategies and the use of "best practice" technologies in the preK-12 classroom comprise his writing and research foci. Dr. Nowak serves on the several campus committees and as a faculty advisor for the IPFW Educators for Excellence.
This course is for teachers interested in using robots to help explain concepts in science and technology. Teachers will design, build, and program mobile LEGO robots for use in the K-12 curricula and publish course material to the World Wide Web.
