Professional Background

Amy Nitza is an Associate Professor and serves as the director of counselor education. She has a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Purdue University and a doctorate in counseling psychology from Indiana University. She has experience counseling children, adolescents, and families in school and community settings, as well as in the supervision of school and agency counselor trainees. She is a full member of the American Counseling Association and the American Psychological Association.
