
Assistant Professor
Dr. Abbott received his J.D. degree from Indiana University and his Ph.D. from Indiana State University. Dr. Abbott has active as a college instructor for over twenty-five years and has served as adjunct professor, visiting professor, and now assistant professor at IPFW. He practiced law for seventeen years and specialized in school law. He also taught middle school and high school, and has served in several central office administrative positions, including fourteen years as a superintendent of schools. His research areas are law, politics and public policy, education reform and restructuring, and the quality philosophy and quality process.
