IPFW offers the only Big-Ten degree in Northeast Indiana - students earn an internationally recognized MBA from Indiana University. In addition, our program is the only program in the area accredited by AACSB-International. Only 10% of MBA programs, worldwide, posses this highest level of accreditation.
Students who complete the MBA program will earn their degree from Indiana University.

Yes! Students take 11 classes, regardless of their educational background.
Priority deadline is March 1, 2013. Applications will then be accepted on a space available basis until May 16, 2013. International students are encouraged to apply by March 1st.
A completed application consists of the application (completed online at www.ipfw.edu/mba), an educational objectives statement, official transcripts from every college or university attended, two recommendations, and an admissions interview.
No! Students are not required to take the GMAT for admission into the Accelerated MBA program.
Official transcripts are required from all Universities/Colleges you have attended – including those institutions where you may have only taken one class.
Class sizes are small and admissions decisions are competitive. At a minimum, candidates will posses a bachelor’s degree and three years of related work experience. In addition, the Graduate Policy Committee considers a number of characteristics including management, leadership, creativity, maturity, initiative, and organizational and administrative skills.
Indiana residents: Tuition for the Accelerated MBA program for 2012-2013 was $607.24/credit hour for Indiana residents. The total program cost for Indiana students entering the program in August 2012 and completing by June 2013 was $20,038.70. These fees included textbooks delivered directly to students’ homes.
Out-of-state students: Tuition for the Accelerated MBA program for 2012-2013 was $1,004.24/credit hour for out-of-state students.
Tuition for 2013-2014 will be confirmed prior to the August 2013 start and is subject to change.

The Accelerated MBA program consists of 11 classes for a total of 33 credit hours.
11 months – classes start in August with completion in June of the following year.
Orientation is required to enhance student success.
Classes meet on Friday nights from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 – 5:00 p.m. (with a break from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.).
Completing an AACSB-International accredited program in only 11 months is an aggressive schedule. As such, classes meet every Friday night and Saturday. No classes meet the weekends of Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Easter, and Memorial Day.
During the first three quarters (called components), students take three classes. During the last component, students take two classes.
No – the Accelerated MBA program consists of 11 courses – no thesis is required prior to completion.

Throughout their studies, students might complete individual and group work, projects, case study analysis, presentations, take-home and in-class exams. How students are graded and assessed will vary from class to class.

The term cohort refers to the group of students who progress through a program together. Cohort based scheduling allows for the building of lasting relationships and extensive networking among students.
