DR. CARLTON "CARL" A. MAILE, 70, of New Haven, died Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at Parkview North Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Lawton, Mich., he was the son of the late Carl and Pauline Maile. He retired as a professor in 2003 from IPFW after 19 years. His life as a marketing professor, also saw him as a lover of nature, giving back through planting trees, providing a habitat for wildlife and a general concern for preservation. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lois; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Cameron and Michelle Maile of Charleston, S.C.; and grandchildren, Preston, Rachel and Ava.
