Education

Dr. Adilov received his Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University in 2005.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Adilov's teaching interests include theoretical and applied microeconomics, industrial organization, energy economics, and game theory.  He emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving in his classes. 

Research Interests

Dr. Adilov's current research interests are in media economics, copyright policy, electricity markets, and applied economics.  His research is published in Economics Letters and Information Economics and Policy.  Dr. Adilov is a member of Industrial Organization Society and the Engineering & Economics of Electricity Research Group (E3RG) at Cornell University affiliated with NSF Power Systems Engineering Research Center (PSERC) and the Consortium for Electric Reliability Solutions (CERTS).  He has presented his research at the Federal Communications Commission and at the International Industrial Organization Conference.  Dr. Adilov is also a referee for Media Economics and Journal of Regulatory Economics
