Biography

Cynthia Lloyd is an assistant professor of accounting. Her research interests include information asymmetry issues, managerial accounting  and corporate governance. Her co-authored paper with Salma Ibrahim, “The Association between Non-Financial Performance Measures in Executive Compensation Contracts and Earnings Management,” was published in The Journal of Accounting and Public Policy.

Lloyd holds a Bachelor’s in accounting from University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, an MBA with concentrations in accounting and finance from the University of Tennessee at Nashville, a law degree from the University of Houston School of Law and a PhD in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Morgan State University.
