Dean's Welcome

My goals for DSB are to build on the School’s strengths by enhancing student learning and faculty
professional development; dramatically increasing service to, and partnership with corporate and industry associations. I intend to enhance the School’s leadership position in regional economic development through internships, co-ops, and engaging faculty intellectual contributions. Eventually, I want DSB to become the cradle of visionary and nationally recognized business leaders.  The School will achieve these goals through the following strategic initiatives:

1. Emphasize forward-looking vision and life-long learning skills in our curricula;
2. Foster personal integrity and social responsibility in our students;
3. Provide students with opportunities to participate in real world projects as part of their learning experience;
4. Assess student learning outcomes in national student competitions;
5. Foster a global perspective in our students with international studies programs.
