October 1 - November 11, 2012
Jeffrey Strayer, continuing lecturer in philosophy at IPFW, addresses this question in a new exhibition of works in the IPFW Visual Arts Gallery, Oct. 1 – Nov. 11, 2012. These works are part of the Haecceities Series, each member of which utilizes language and its comprehension to identify what the work is meant to be. Language used is either repeated in symmetrical circles, or is repeated in correlated pairs of matrices according to an algorithm he created to distribute language systematically on a two-dimensional surface.
