Most of the people of Cienfuegos live without running water or electricity. In the face of sheer, abject poverty Visual Communication and Design continuing lecturer and photographer James Gabbard has captured a colorful zest for life and the pride of these people surrounded by the rain forests of the Dominican Republic.
