Guest Artist Recital – Kate Boyd, piano

Pianist Kate Boyd will perform the intriguing Sonatas and Interludes, a collection of 20 pieces for prepared piano by avant-garde composer John Cage (1912-1992).  Sonatas and Interludes is generally recognized as one of Cage's finest achievements.  Boyd is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of Piano Studies at Butler University, Indianapolis.
